We are offering variety of dance classes in Jazz, Classical Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Contemporary and Acrobatics for Years 7- 9 students. Intermediates are the next steps in our dancers journey moving up through the age groups that still allows for a fun, supportive environment but with more challenging skills and intricate choreography. Training in multiple styles emphasise musicality, rhythm, energy and performance. For those learning Classical Ballet we work towards getting our first ever Pointe Shoes.
In September or October Intermediate students perform their dance at a community festival with their jazz, hip hop and musical theatre dance routine. The year culminates in a spectacular end-of-year performance at our annual concert in which every child is costumed and groomed beautifully will perform in all dance routines the student has enrolled.
Students wear their Centre Stage uniforms proudly to class each week. Family members are welcome to watch their child's progress once a year during Open Week, held in Term 2.
